Head Start On Housing Connects Landlords With Families In Need Of Stable Housing In Connecticut.

Stable housing is so important for child development and family success. This program provides housing vouchers to Connecticut Early Head Start or Head Start families as a step towards ending homelessness and supporting family success. This initiative is made possible by collaboration with local and national organizations, as well as Head Start programs.

What is Head Start?

Head Start and Early Head Start provide a wide range of early learning and development services and supports for income-eligible young children and their families. Head Start is a national program that promotes school readiness for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, offering support, resources, and community partnerships for the whole family to be successful.
